Getting a college education has become associated with leaving home for the first time. Ah, those college years-that pivotal time for each young person as new opportunities arise-and new challenges are met. It can be exhilarating and discouraging as students learn to live on their own and meet the demands of studies, roommates, dating and finances.
There is a stereotype that many hold of those college years, and it is often referred to as ‘those starving student days.’ The pantry is bare for many students, and their nutrients are in the same state. After all, there aren’t so many benefits from a beer and pizza diet, which is a college student’s standby meal. In cases like this, it would be beneficial to the current and future health of the student to take whole foods supplements. Getting the vitamins needed will help students be healthier and better able to ace that test or survive that all night study session.
